American Gold Star Mothers of Indian River County, Inc.

American Gold Star Mothers, Inc. is an organization of mothers whose children died while in service, or died as a result of that service, or are still missing in action.  Gold Star Mothers honor service members in need and military families.  Our mission is finding strength in the fellowship of other Gold Star Mothers who strive to keep the memory of our sons and daughters alive by working to help veterans, those currently serving in the military, their families and our communities.  We serve in community activities to promote patriotism and support veterans.

The American Gold Star Mothers of Indian River County, Inc., Vero Beach, FL was established on April 1, 2020 and received its status as a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization on April 28, 2020.  The current Executive Board is:  President, Michelle Dale and Directors, Roma Anderson, Diana D’Angelo and Tammy Thurber.  The original charter, as a Chapter of the National American Gold Star Mothers. Inc., was received on February 19, 2019 and was founded by Michelle Dale whose son, Army CPL Dale J. Kridlo, was killed in action in Afghanistan on November 7, 2010.  Charter members are:  President, Michelle Dale; Vice-President, Roma Anderson; Secretary/Treasurer, Diana D’Angelo; Chaplain, Tammy Thurber; and Historian, Laura Clement.

IAmerican Gold Star Mothers of Indian River County, Inc. is a non-profit tax-exempt organization as described under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)3. Federal ID #85-0621175.  Registration #DTN3348471.  A copy of the official registration and financial information may be obtained from the Division of Consumer Services by calling toll-free (800-435-7352) within the state.  Registration does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the State.
